I'm a late-diagnosed ADHDer who believes we all deserve to do work that lights us up. I’ve worked in marketing, web design & technology since 2014 and credentials including Squarespace Circle Gold membership and I am a Certified UX Designer. I launched Lark About Design Co. so I could offer design services & strategy at the pace of real life for small businesses.
After realizing most of my clients were neurodivergent (like me!), I created a right-sized, brain-friendly alternative to working with expensive agencies with never-ending deadlines and fees (or DIY-ing on a wing & a prayer)

Q: How much time will this take on my end?
A: A lot less than doing it yourself! Most clients know the pain of spending hours in Canva and Instagram. With us, you can expect to spend about 15 minutes a week in their Marketing Huddle, plus a little time reviewing content before it goes out. Everything else is handled by our team.
Q: Will you write content in my voice?
A: Yes! That's the whole point. We start with a deep dive into your brand voice, your clients, and what makes you different. Everything we create sounds like you, not like us.
Q: Do you just use AI to run my marketing?
A: We take a human-first approach to content marketing, because we see everyday how AI tools fall woefully short on both strategy and visuals for small businesses. We want you to stand out for who you are. We do occasionally use AI as a copywriting-assistance tool to make sure we’ve dotted our i’s and crossed our t’s, but content ideas, graphics and captions are human-first and really come from our hard work!
Q: I'm neurodivergent. Is this built for me?
A: Yes! Our whole approach is brain-friendly by design. Clear timelines, clear communication, no jargon, and a team that gets it. We’re also happy to work with you to find the best content delivery systems that work for you!
Q: What's the onboarding fee for?
A: New clients pay a one-time $150 onboarding fee that covers your Marketing Deep Dive, strategy setup, and getting all our systems connected. If you're a past Lark About Design website client, it's waived entirely.
