Please note that when you schedule, you’re booking me for a week, not a rigid set of deliverables.
How much we can accomplish together during that time will also depend on how responsive you are during the week and if you can complete the prep work ahead of time. If you’re able to show up fully for the process, we can get a sh*tload done. So when picking your week, please keep your own capacity in mind, too!
Everything You Need. One Easy-Peasy Process!
#1 Book Your Week!
Choose your week & pay your deposit using the scheduler. Plan for 1–2 weeks of light pre-launch prep. You’ll book a kickoff call when you schedule and need to be available in Slack during your launch week (ideally not a week you’re traveling or super busy).
#2 Pre-Launch Prep
Once your week is booked, you’ll get access to Launch HQ. Everything you need to complete ahead of time is clearly laid out so we can move efficiently during the week. I’ll check in shortly before we start to make sure you’re ready.
#3 I Build. You Picnic.
During launch week I’ll be in build mode, while you work through your marketing resources and shape a plan that works with your brain. Other than our initial kickoff call on Monday, we mostly collaborate asynchronously in Slack!
#4 Launch & Beyond!
After launch week, you’ll have 7 days of Slack support. Use it to ask questions, get unstuck, and apply what we built with confidence. The goal is simple: marketing and systems that support your growth, not slow you down.

I'm a late-diagnosed ADHDer who believes we all deserve to do work that lights us up. I’ve worked in marketing, web design & technology since 2014 and credentials including Squarespace Circle Gold membership and I am a Certified UX Designer. I launched Lark About Design Co. so I could offer design services & strategy at the pace of real life for small businesses.
After realizing most of my clients were neurodivergent (like me!), I created a right-sized, brain-friendly alternative to working with expensive agencies with never-ending deadlines and fees (or DIY-ing on a wing & a prayer)

Q: What makes Lark About Design different?

Q: Do I have to hire a web designer AND a copywriter?
A: With most web designers? Yes. With me? No way!
I adore SEO-friendly copywriting, and include it at no additional cost on websites, google ads, and content marketing projects. Your Launch HQ Workbook gives me everything I need to knock your copy out of the park & we will work closely together along the way to make sure I nail it. That said, if you have a copywriter you want to work with, I love collabs!
Q: Do you build accessible websites?
A: Absolutely!! I always design with accessibility in mind.
I completed a 400 hour UX Design Fellowship in 2022 and was heavily focused on accessibility in tech. I have also had some incredible mentors along the way & am always learning more!
Q: Do you do SEO?
A: Yes! When it comes to SEO, I go way above and beyond what most web designers in my price range do. At no extra charge!
Because I want you to get found & all your dreams to come true! While SEO is a long game, I can give your website an excellent place to start in our week together, and we can do regular tuneups (or DIY glowups!) anytime.
Payment Plans, Non-Profit Discounts and More!
Q: Can I reschedule if I need to?
A: Sure - I get it, life happens! You can reschedule your launch week one time at no extra cost.
Please provide me at least 2 weeks notice (or as much as possible) so I can adjust as needed. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to future services.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes! Payment plans are available.
A $1000 deposit is required upfront to hold the space in my schedule, but we can split the remaining balance up into 2-3 payments. You’ll need to be paid in full by your Launch Week, but I’m happy to be flexible about what that needs to look like for you!
Q: Do you offer a nonprofit discount?
A: Yes! Registered nonprofits receive a 10% discount on design services with me.
